OUR NAMESAKE

Our company’s name is borrowed from our founding city of Dallas, after one of it's most beloved and established streets, Swiss Avenue. 

 

Dreamt up by Robert S. Munger, a successful cotton gin manufacturer turned real- estate developer, the neighborhood along Swiss Avenue (“Munger Place”) was the first exclusive residential community in Dallas with initial developments dating back to 1905. In the first few decades of the 20th century, Munger commissioned some of the times’ most talented architects to adorn Swiss Avenue with distinctive and stately homes. The street is a timeless body of work, so much so that Dallas people will stroll the avenue viewing the homes as art pieces in a gallery.
